Crises are opportunities for those who train in Martial Arts to use their training to respond and adapt to the situation. For my personal students Nami ryu principles and training are designed for crisis. The type of crisis matters little in regards to Principle response. The physical actions taken are defined by the problem/situation to be solved. Responding with Fear and its many manifestations including anger, blaming, name calling etc. is reprehensible and means that you need to take a very hard look at yourself, your training, and your character. We should be the example. Calm, reasonable, information in context driven, keeping others calm in the process. Be the go to person that others can look to for how to behave and manage the situation..
