After footwork, head movement is the most important skill for successful offense and defense. It is most important to learn to move your head while you are punching or kicking. Secondary is to move your head as your primary defense when an opponent is punching at it. With proper programming and practice you will move your head as your opponent punches without thinking about. The best defense is not to be where force is being applied. This is true through the entire force continuum. Use this video series to build your basics, the better your foundation, the more successful you will be.
